This application is intended as an UNOFFICIAL workaround for an ongoing problem on the popular financial data website ADVFN.COM where currently, the daily 'End of Day' downloads are missing the FTSE Sector and Index datasets.
You are welcome to download and use this program on the proviso that you do so ENTIRELY at your own risk. The author will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or other problem arising either from the direct use of this program, or in the event that ADVFN.COM require you not to use it at some point in the future.
It is believed that the problem at ADVFN.COM will eventually be corrected, and at that time, this program will cease to have much purpose, and will be removed from this website at that point. It is provided here purely as a courtesy to other ADVFN.COM users who may be suffering an increased workload as a result of the absence of the Sector and Index data files.
